D. Ashbrooke Tullis was born and raised in New Orleans and is a graduate of both the University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she was on the traveling Moot Court team. As a litigator, her practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial defense, toxic tort, transportation, and premises liability. She practices throughout the state. Ashbrooke is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana. She is also admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in the State of Tennessee, and has been admitted to, and handled select matters in, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She is a member of the Louisiana State and New Orleans Bar Associations. As an active member of the Boards of Directors for Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana, the Arts Council of New Orleans, the UVaClub of New Orleans and the Alumni Board for Metairie Park Country Day School, she is regularly involved in community projects. Ashbrooke also serves as an NCOUR Ambassador for the University of Virginia.
